This tool costs a recipe from its ingredients and prices it up. It needs a full-size screen to run.

This tool uses detailed tables and multi-column inputs designed for a laptop or desktop. You can still use it here, but some elements may not display correctly and can be harder to navigate on a smaller screen.
Costing & pricing
Work out what a recipe really costs to make — a dish or a drink — then price it with confidence; your GP, gross profit and budget status update as you type.
Name the dish, set the price you sell it at (including VAT), and add any packaging cost and a waste allowance for trim and spoilage.
Enter each ingredient, the quantity used in one portion, the unit, and what that unit costs you (ex-VAT). The line cost and totals update as you type — paste straight from a spreadsheet, or use the template buttons below.
This table is wide — scroll it sideways to see every column.
| Line | Per portion |

Recipe cost is ingredients plus a waste allowance plus packaging. GP and contribution are worked out on net (ex-VAT) revenue. Enter ingredient costs ex-VAT.
